The new church in Sarasota, Florida is just a couple of months old now, but it’s already looking like an established work. Scores of people are working on service teams, and attendance is increasing. We are so thankful to the Lord and to everyone He has used to make this possible. It’s an amazing thing to watch something go from a thought and a sketch to a living reality. It is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
The ability to hear from the Lord is one of the most important things we can ever learn. Wisdom comes from it and faith comes by it. There is no success or victory without it. I think one of the big things that people have stumbled over in learning to hear from Him is understanding how He communicates with us—specifically, what part of our being His Spirit witnesses with. We’ve included a message from our recent series on “Clear to Hear” dealing with the very important subject of our conscience. I’m believing light will come to you as you listen to it. With just a few changes, we can begin hearing Him so clearly and definitely that there’s no doubt it’s Him speaking to us. As that happens, we’ll be bold to act, and that’s when miracles take place. (John 2:5)
Our 2012 Marriage Meeting is coming up soon in Branson, June 4-8. This is your official invitation to come and be with us. I know it’s an investment of time, effort, and money to do it, but opening ourselves up for the Lord to minister to us in our marriages is time well spent. Any area in our life where our faith isn’t fed will become weak and vulnerable. Let’s become strong at home and give the devil no place.
The Word Supply is doing great. It continues to increase and reach more, with more of His life-giving Word. I’ll soon be announcing some faith steps forward for even greater increase. We’re so glad you are a Word Sender with us.
